I am writing to all residents of Ward 4 to tell you that on October 25, 2010, I will again seek re-election to the city of Burlington and Regional Councils. My fiscally responsible approach for 16 years will continue to be a top priority.
I welcome the potential to see a change in the next council to greater fiscal responsibility, which would help us to achieve better financial management at both levels of government.
For the past sixteen years, I have enjoyed serving the residents of Burlington/Halton (especially Ward 4) and wish to continue to serve. On your behalf, I will continue to offer a cooperative, business-like approach to City and Regional Government.
As such we will always have concerns that need to be addressed by your local government.
As your elected councillor I have proven that I'm consistently an advocate for you making wise, decisive choices, after extensive consultation with citizens and careful deliberation of many factors- always maintaining balance and apply business basics to all decisions.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this. I will be knocking on the door of every home within Ward 4 in the coming months as I believe communication is valuable and on-going meaningful public consultation is essential.
